QuestionsJob DescriptionThe Iowa Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Transitional Social Worker (Social Worker 2) to join the team at the State Training School (STS) in Eldora, which provides supportive counseling and behavioral health treatment for young men, ages 12-18, who were adjudicated delinquent.
This position offers a great schedule of 8:
00am-4:
30pm Monday-Friday!The Social Worker 2 will participate in all applicable functions of the treatment team.
Our Transitional Social Worker will serve as a liaison with the student, the families or guardians, mental health professionals, and others involved with our students in an effort to place them back in their community as successful productive young men.
